San Joaquin Cogen Plant is located in Lathrop, California just south of Stockton. San Joaquin is owned by San Joaquin Cogen, LLC, a subsidiary of Bicent Power LLC.
San Joaquin Cogen is a 48 MW steam injected simple-cycle plant. A Deltak HRSG is coupled with a General Electric LM5000 gas turbine to provide peaking power. When this plant was originally built, in addition to its power production, it operated as a cogeneration facility providing steam to a nearby glass plant . During most of the 2000s the San Joaquin facility has operated as a merchant power plant.
